No that file is not required and actually probably came from the way I zipped it up. You can ignore it.

What was the MACOSX file that came with the download? Do I need that in bbPress?

Great template. I would like to add more to the ’sidebar’ besides what is there now (tags, views, etc). Can you tell me which template page it is contained in?

@Gwen the header and footer is just “header.php” and “footer.php” inside the “toonewsy” template folder.

Also I ported this from a WordPress theme so some files are not actually used and it could be cleaned up.

Thank you! It works now after I reinstalled bbPress. Can you also let me know which file I need to modify in order to change the layout of the header file and footer file? Thank you.. I am learning this as I go!

Please make sure you are using bbPress v0.9 and not the beta release.

I am new to BBpress and I need help with installing the theme. When I install the theme to the my-template folder and reload the page, I got this error message.

Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_header() in /home/………/index.php on line 1

Can someone help me with this error message? Thanks.
